THE Webmaster Speaks

Occasionally, I receive messages from people that say something like:

"The link is dead on this page."

"You misspelled the word 'something' on this page."

"How come you haven't updated this page?"

"Please update this link."

The messages are very important to me; I don't want any bad links, misspellings, or old information.  But I don't know where to go. With over 100 pages on this server, it is very difficult to determine where the problem resides.  In every case, I send back a response requesting additional information but many times either the sender doesn't remember or doesn't respond.

When sending any information to the 'webmaster' (click webmaster to start your Email), please copy and paste the URL in the body of your Email.  Assuming you have Windows, you can do this by:

1. Highlight the 'address' text box of the offending page in your browser,

2. Go to Edit then Copy in your browser menu. (or use CTL+C on your keyboard),

3. Click in the body of your Email and then go to Edit then Paste in your browser menu. (or use CTL+V on your keyboard).
